The Four Seasons Las Vegas

Save up to 30% in Europe and Middle East with Orbitz.

Experience the ultimate Las Vegas luxury in Four Seasons, the only true luxury non-gambling resort where you are not greeted, even at a distance, with a clink of slots. Inside the hotel the atmosphere is calm and quiet, but once you walk through the door you immediately appear in Mandalay Bay, with its casinos, 11-acre water environment and exciting nightlife. By the way, this hotel, located at the South end of the Las Vegas Strip, is conveniently located two miles from the McCarran International Airport, but is central to all of the action on the Strip. So the Four Seasons is an excellent choice for those who want an exquisite Las Vegas experience but want to stay close to the casinos and nightlife.

The Strip-view rooms of the Four Seasons give you the whole incredible panorama, including the surrounding desert. Guest rooms feature large marble bathrooms with deep tub, separate glass enclosed shower and WC with telephone. The beds have feather pillows and down comforters, robes are plush, and amenities such as safes, irons, hair driers, voice mails and VCRs are very nice.

Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner on a chic veranda with indoor and outdoor seating. The décor is modern Mediterranean, with high ceilings, pale green tones, a wide arched door and rattan furniture. Charlie Palmer Steak, decorated in dark mahogany, with overstuffed chairs and deep couches, is open for dinner as well. Guests can also choose from a dozen of restaurants at nearby Mandalay Bay.

The hotel features an 8,000-square-foot pool adorned with plants and statues, two whirlpools and covered chaise lounges. The 12,000 sq. ft. spa and fitness area has 16 treatment rooms, separate locker areas with steam rooms and a relaxation space. The fitness center is fully equipped and has TV and earphones on all of the cardio gear. Although the Four Seasons has its own spa, guests have access to the larger Mandalay Bay spa as well. They can also use the Mandalay Bay pool and resort area.

Unlike many of the other resorts, most amenities here (such as spa and gym access, pool cabanas and many others) are included in the room price. Service is superb and your needs are anticipated. Children are encouraged and spoiled by welcome gifts and are pampered with special amenities as well. The hotel will even childproof your room before you check in. In fact, the list of comforts available for the asking is a yard long. Once you take into account all the freebies, always immaculate service, general child pampering, and the blessed peace, the costly Four Seasons is probably worth the dough. Mandalay Bay

Flash Deals! Deep Travel Discounts Available for Booking for 48 Hours Only!

One of the most popular hotels on the Strip, Mandalay Bay certainly looks grown-up, but it does have a number of amenities that make it family friendly. First of all, the hotel features good-size rooms, and you don’t have to walk through the casino to get to any of the hotel public areas or the guest room elevators; then there is a variety of restaurants, a family-appropriate show, a big shark attraction and, best of all, the swimming area with fantastic wave pool, sandy beach, lazy river, lots of other pools – everything that your kids need to have great fun in the Vegas sun!

The lobby, with its high ceilings, all gleaming with marble and housing a large aquarium, as well as other public areas really create a calm atmosphere of a real resort hotel, and the whole complex is much less confusing and overwhelming than some other Las Vegas hotels. The spacious guestrooms with subdued décor are among the most desirable on the Strip featuring king beds with carved headboard posts and firm mattresses. The large bathrooms are probably the best on the Strip, with impressive slightly sunken tubs, glassed-in showers, double sinks and separate water closets.

The restaurants of Mandalay Bay feature some of the most innovating interiors of the city, each one more whimsical and imaginative than the previous one. Even if you don’t eat at the hotel, it is worth having a look at all of them. At night, rumjungle featuring a dramatically skewered, all-you-can-eat, multi-course Brazilian feast becomes one of the hippest night spots in town. More casual food is served at the House of Blues, famous of its delicious Southern delicacies and is the best place in all Las Vegas to see rock bands. Concerts are held in the arena which was inaugurated by none other than Luciano Pavarotti, or the House of Blues concert hall. During the day, there's a rare coin museum, a walk-through aquarium and several trendy restaurants.

Its water park, with wave pool and sandy bottom lagoon, is very popular with families. An 11-acre water playground with sandy beaches and a wave pool has recently been expanded, doubling the number of beach chairs and adding a three-story, air conditioned casino with glass windows overlooking the beach.

The MGM Grand Hotel Casino

MGM Grand, definitely one of the largest hotels in the world, used to have an amusement park in the back and the original Wizard of Oz theme. Instead there are now striptease shows like high-profile nudie show Crazy Horse Paris and a lounge called Tabu. Still many families choose to stay at MGM Grand because of its excellent swimming pool area with a lazy river, a decent arcade, and other goodies.

The distinctive feature of MGM Grand is a huge gold lion and gigantic video screens outside. One of the largest hotels in the world with over 5,000 guest rooms, the MGM Grand is like a city within itself. Guest rooms and suites are in four 30-story towers, with over 700 Hollywood-inspired suites. The Grand Tower rooms deserve your special attention, with fun palette of colors, good wood furniture and black-and-white movie-star glamour photos adding special charm to this modern interior design. Restaurants include the Rainforest Cafe and Hollywood Brown Derby.

Your kids will be truly amazed by the huge gold lion outside, flanked by enormous and colorful video screens, the live lions inside, as well as by unique restaurants like the Rainforest Café. There is a CBS Television City, where children aged 10 and older can play critic-attending screenings of new television programs and rating shows. There is also a state-of-the-art video game arcade and carnival midway. Hotel guests aged from 3 to 16 can have great fun at the youth center, with separate sections for different age groups offering such facilities as play-house, tumbling mats as well as expensive arts and crafts materials. The Grand Pool Complex at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas has five swimming pools, three hot tubs, a lazy river and a waterfall, but hours are limited and not all pools are open at all times. Private cabanas, available for daily rentals, have TVs, refrigerators with drinks, fruit and nuts, and complimentary raft rentals.

The Luxor Hotel Casino

The Luxor has, no doubt, become an unmistakable icon on the Strip, with its distinctive pyramid design including 30-storied onyx-hued pyramid, giant Sphinx standing guard outside, and a really tall 315,000-watt spotlight from the top that is the brightest beam in the entire world. Inside you will see the towering statues of Ramses and hear Animatronic camels talk. The atrium is the largest in the world, and the hotel itself is the second largest in Las Vegas.

Rooms in the pyramid are open onto the vast center that contains the casino. Guest rooms in the pyramid are reached by high-speed "inclinators", elevators, traveling at a 39-degree angle. The pyramid rooms have a mixture of Egyptian kitsch and Art Deco styling, featuring gleaming inlaid wood furniture and hilarious hieroglyphic bedspread. The outside wall of the guest rooms are slanted but offer marvelous views from the windows. No matter which room you get, at the Luxor you will find yourself surrounded by unique and charming room décor.

Children will love the pyramid housing high-tech entertainment and elevators that travel at a 39-degree angle. One entire floor of the Luxor is dedicated to entertainment of the non-gambling variety such as IMAX movies, video games and virtual reality rides. Two notable attractions are King Tut’s Tomb & Museum and the Luxor IMAX-theatre. The Pharaoh’s Pheast buffet offers a great archeological-dig atmosphere. The high-tech nightclub Ra is a happening nightspot. The Luxor has four swimming pools and a hot tub. Cabanas are available for daily rental and include a refrigerator with drinks, cushioned lounge chairs, a ceiling fan, two complimentary raft rentals and a TV. Relax is an adults-only VIP pool that has private cabanas, hammocks, iced towels, chilled fruit and alcoholic popsicles.

The Luxor Hotel Casino is located: 3900 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas, Nevada 89119 USA

Excalibur Hotel Casino

A colorful and whimsical castle at the Southern end of the Strip, Excalibur is one of the largest hotels in the world. This gleaming white turreted castle, complete with moat, drawbridge, battlements and lofty towers is really huge. At night, this castle is like a fairy tale come true, lit up in pinks, purples and greens. Across the drawbridge, the King Arthur theme will delight kids and anyone who grew up loving tales of knights in shining armor. Excalibur features an entire second floor full of midway games, a large video-game arcade, and more. The Medieval Village on the second floor houses restaurants and shops along winding streets and alleyways, a kind of permanent Renascence Fair. Here the guests can buy Viking helmets, swords, princess hats and other themed souvenirs. The Village has “Jester’s Stage” where jugglers, puppeteers and magicians entertain guests with 20-minute performances daily. It also has some child-oriented eateries and shows. For example, there is the Tournament of King, a medieval-style dinner show worth visiting. There, on the second floor, there is an enclosed, air-conditioned sideway that connects with the Luxor. On the way to the Luxor walkway there is a branch of Krispy Kreme doughnuts installed, very popular among the kids and adults alike.

Comfortable guest rooms and suites are some of the most inexpensive on the Strip and are done in neutrals. None of the bathrooms have tubs, just showers. The sprawling loud casino is located right in the middle of everything, including the path between you and the elevators to your room.

New York - New York Hotel

New York-New York, for sure, has many options for children. A roller coaster outside your hotel room window is a dream come true for many older kids. An arcade is in the hotel, and if it is not enough, there is an even bigger one, Gameworks, across the street. M&M World and a movie theater are right across the street also.

Staying there is a kind of like being in real New York, with its big crowds and too much noise, especially with all-too-realistic traffic and parking nightmares. Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge at New York-New York is like walking through a storybook version of the actual city. Everything is there, but just on a smaller, cuter scale. The Statue of Liberty stands in front, and inside you will be able to walk through Central Park, the main casino area, complete with an oak tree, babbling brooks, streetlamps and footbridges. The location is great for families though going almost anywhere requires walking through the casino.

Guest rooms and suites which are quite comfortable considering the low price are in eleven "skyscrapers”. There is a small health club and spa, and the mediocre pool is right next to the parking lot. The hotel features a number of good restaurants plus several festive and beautifully decorated bars, including Hamilton’s, a sophisticated cigar bar, Coyote Ugly, where dancing on furniture is encouraged, the Bar at Times Square, where a lighted ball drops every night at midnight and others. This is Las Vegas at its whimsical best.

New York New York Hotel is located: 3790 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, Nevada 89109 USA

Circus Circus Hotel Casino

Centrally located on the Strip, Circus Circus Hotel & Casino is nonstop action, and not just in the casino. The mezzanine level of the hotel offers ongoing circus acts daily from 11a.m. to midnight, performed every twenty minutes, which can been seen from the casino and most of the restaurants, as well as dozens of carnival games, and an arcade with more than 300 video and pinball games. There are also plenty of activities for teens and older kids available, including a full amusement theme park in the back.

The hotel corridors and rooms are also decorated in a rather noisy style. Guest rooms are quite affordable and large. The guests can keep cool with three swimming pools, two hot tubs and a separate swimming pool for the RV park. In the Adventuredome theme park you may also ride the Rim Runner, a water ride.

Circus Circus Hotel Casino is located: 2880 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, Nevada 89109 USA

The Orleans Hotel Casino

With some kid-friendly possibilities like bowling alley and movie theatres, the Orleans is a viable family-appropriate hotel, with something for each age range. The Orleans features a great 18-screen movie complex, complete with a food-court and day-care center with a superb jungle gym, a movie room, arts and crafts, and interactive play, a 70-lane bowling center, a new 9,000-seat arena for minor- league hockey team, plus a shuttle that runs to the Barbary Coast on the Strip. With such entertainment possibilities your kids just can’t be bored!

At the Orleans you will find the largest standard rooms in town, which are rather nice, all with definite New Orleans – French atmosphere. Each room is L-shaped and has a seating alcove by the windows, old-fashioned overstuffed chairs and a large sofa. Rooms face the Strip or the mountain landscapes that surround the Las Vegas Valley.

The Orleans Hotel Casino is located: 4500 W Tropicana Ave Las Vegas, NV 89103.

The Stratosphere Hotel Casino

With incredibly thrilling rides, amazing views and a fabulous pool, Stratosphere Las Vegas Hotel & Casino is ideal for families looking for reasonably priced accommodations. The hotel features nice rooms, with cherry wood elements in décor and usual hotel amenities.

Though located a bit far from the center of the Strip, the Stratosphere has already become one of its most recognizable icons. The tallest free-standing observation deck in the U.S. offering stunning city views, the tower is topped with the highest thrill rides in the world, a roller coaster and "Big Shot" which launches riders even higher than the 1,149 foot observation deck. You can also have a wild ride on Insanity, a ride of the midway Scrambler ilk, which is 909 feet above the ground, or X Scream, a ride that rolls you over the edge and back. Older kids who love theme park thrills might be brave enough for the three rides atop this 1,149 foot tower, including the highest roller coaster in the world.

The Stratosphere offers a variety of dining options, including Fellini’s Ristorante, Roxy’s, Naga, Lucky’s coffee shop, along with the food court with Mickey D’s, a Steakhouse and a Mexican grill-oyster bar combo. The rotating Top of the World restaurant on the 106th floor, although expensive and often crowded, offers 360 degree views of the city. The hotel also offers the longest running show in the city called Viva Las Vegas and the impersonator show American Superstars.

Stratosphere Hotel Casino is located: 2000 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas, Nevada 89104 USA.

The Red Rock Casino Resort

About twenty minutes off the Strip, taking full advantage of a picturesque mountain setting in the upscale suburb, there is the Red Rock Resort which boasts a family-friendly playground with a multi-screen movie theater, bowling alley, video game arcade and a two-story supervised children program called Kids Quest.

This is actually the first billion-dollar resort and casino to be built off the Strip. This luxury resort with over three million crystals woven into the decor is much smaller than the typical Strip behemoth, but it does have a more intimate feel and modern, warm décor. The comfortable appointed guestrooms overlooking the surrounding mountains feature plasma TVs, Bose sound systems with iPod docks and in-room martini bars. But the biggest attraction is, of course, the casino itself, crowned by a 60-foot-long crystal chandelier, with its 3,000 slot machines and a 24-hour smoke-free poker room.

The Red Rock Resort welcomes the guests to experience gourmet dining at the Feast Buffet which offers the legendary Salt Lick BBQ straight from Texas. If you love Italian cuisine, then you will find Terra Rossa to your liking, with its distinctive 7,500-bottle wine collection. And finally there is T-Bones Chophouse for steak.

The resort features three-acre pool with an interactive fountain, plus cabanas and poolside gaming. Relax your body while being pampered at deep red Spa at Red Rock Las Vegas which also has a secluded pool. Adventure seekers will be thrilled by excursions to Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area offering great opportunities for hiking and white water rafting.

Red Rock Casino Resort is located: 11011 West Charleston Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada 89135 USA.
